About This Training Course

At the end of the Fibre to the Premises FTTP Lead-in & ONT Activation Training Course the participants will be conversant with all aspects of the installation of and demonstrate compliance with Fibre to the Premises Lead-in and ONT Activation.

Subjects Covered

Install fibre optic lead in from the DLM/LM to the customer premises, install the customer Optical Network TerminationONT and its associated power supply and the connections of the customer cabling as per Telstra procedures and work instructions. It identifies the components that make up such a system and instructs in the installation of these components. This course will enable course participants to perform ONT activation procedures using the PON meter and vedio scope as per Telstra's instructions and to meet the carrier's audit requirements.
