About This Training Course

"This OHS Auditor Training course is for individuals who want to become internal or external auditors of occupational health and safety management systems (OHSMS). It is accredited for individuals who are seeking Registration as OHS Certified Auditors who need OHSMS auditor training.

The training course is also ideal for experienced occupational health and safety committee members who wish to upgrade their skills and qualifications.

This Registrar Accreditation Board / Quality Society of Australasia (RABQSA) accredited course provides training and assessment in OHS auditing competencies and successful participants are recommended to RABQSA for recognition at Associate Auditor grade. Competency standards issued by RABQSA are used as part of the assessment process for certification as an OHS management system auditor with RABQSA.

Prerequisites

"Applicants should have completed at least secondary education, or equivalent. Applicants should have appropriate work experience which contributes to the development of skills and understanding in some or all of the following:
• OHS Management systems and day to day workplace safety
• OHS acts, regulations, codes of practise, standards and rules
• Safetly Inspections, hazard Identifications surveys, and risk assessment
• OHS committee activities and emergency response/fire wardens"
