Dogging and Rigging
|
Dogging courses are designed to introduce you to the basic skills associated with the slinging and movement of loads with cranes. Learn how to safely direct and position loads using various communication systems. The Dogging courses cover regulations, safety requirements, crane types and their application in different industries.
Upon completion of a dogging course, successful students who have met the competencies are eligible to apply for their Certificate in Dogging. This National Card is recognised Australia wide.
After attaining a Dogging certificate you are eligible to further your skills with training for qualifications in basic rigging. With a dogging certificate you can seek work opportunities in areas where cranes or lifting equipment are used such as construction sites, building sites, mines or off-shore.
